About the Journal

The Revista Reproducción is a biannual publication in Spanish of the Argentinian Society of Reproductive Medicine (SAMeR-ASRM) and the Argentinian Society of Clinical Embryology (SAEC-ASCE). The members of each of these Societies are represented on our Editorial Board.

It is intended for specialists and researchers in the area of ​​reproductive health, in particular gynecologists, andrologists, endocrinologists, urologists, biologists, embryologists, biochemists geneticists, and psychologists.

Basic and clinical studies will be accepted for evaluation in the areas of assisted reproduction, infertility, reproductive genetics, reproductive immunology, andrology, assisted reproduction laboratory, gynecological endocrinology, reproductive surgery, social and human sciences in reproduction in the form of original articles, reviews, update articles and case reports.

The reception of works will be carried out through the OJS system on the official website of the Revista Reproducción: www.revistareproduccion.org.ar

Any paper will be received outside of the system. The Journal Reproduction is an open access journal. The publication of any article is free.

Papers are submitted to the arbitration of two judges belonging to the scientific committee and an external evaluator, who will remain anonymous in a double blind and open evaluation process (the author will not know the identity of the judge, nor the judge the identity of the author).

The judges within a month of receiving the paper will be issued as work accepted without modifications, accepted with modifications or rejected. In case of discrepancy between the judges, a third judge will be summoned.

The publication of papers by non-Spanish-speaking authors will be accepted in an English version.

Original articles must be unpublished before. They must not have been sent or presented simultaneously to any other magazine before knowing the decision of acceptance or rejection by the Journal Reproduction.

Anti-plagiarism policies

The Revista Reproducción adheres to the plagiarism control policy using the page www.plagiarisma.net to control the originality of the texts received.

Interest conflict

The responsibility for the content, statements and authorship of published articles belongs exclusively to their authors, who must clarify in writing if there is any conflict of interest. All presentations in publications of the Journal Reproduction must include a paragraph at the end of the manuscript where the declaration of conflicts of interest is specified according to the instructions for authors

Transfer of copyright

All the material published in the Revista Reproducción will be transferred to the Argentinian Society of Reproductive Medicine (SAMeR-ASRM) and the Argentinian Society of Clinical Embryology (SAEC-ASCE). In accordance with the copyright law (Argentinian Law 11723), the authors of each accepted work will be sent a copyright assignment form that must be signed by all authors before publication.

Authors should retain a copy of the original, as the journal does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of the material sent. Authors should send an electronic version to the email: editorial@revistareproduccion.org.ar
